The 6th Annual Scene.org Awards is now over. There were close to 1000 people at the Breakpoint demoparty and 500 people watching the show last night over the BPTV internet stream. A full list of the awarded demos can be seen here. Congratulations to all winners and nominees alike!

The jury has worked day and night to prepare this years list of nominees, and here they are! Browse our awards-section to explore, download and view the nominees in each category. The winners will be announced at the Scene.org Awards show, which takes place during easter weekend at the Breakpoint demo party in Bingen, Germany.

Return of the Scene.org Awards - 6th time's the charm!

Fasten your demo belts and start up your intro engines, the Scene.org Awards is back for the 6th time! The big show is taking place during the Easter weekend on 22nd of March at the Breakpoint demo party in the beautiful Rhine valley in Bingen, Germany. While the jury is still working their way to nominate the very best demo releases from 2007 you can also affect the results by voting for your favourite demoscene release from last year, perhaps all the way for the public choice award! As we're always up to listening to what the audience has the say, you can also make a hint to the jury of noteworthy releases through Pouet . The jury will go through all the suggested productions, and while selecting your favourites in Pouet won't mean necessary a nomination, it's a good chance to inform us about less known releases .

The deadline for the public choice voting is 29th of February and all the Scene.org Awards nominations will be announced right after that on the 1st of March 2008. Until then, keep on demoing!
