Kewlers
"We Cell"
Nominated for the best demo in 2004
Released at Assembly 2004
Joking with late nineties demoscene references with tongue-in-cheek humor Kewlers takes us in a powerfully driven dive down to the microscopic level. Already having explored such theme with Protozoa (2003) this time they are playing with it, at the fringe of bad taste but never falling over. The soundtrack´s sinister breakbeat also goes back to the basics of every successful demo track. Abounding in rest-pauses and synchronization points, it enables this diverse and original effect show -- built on elegant programming ideas -- to strike the demo-amateur efficiently.

Scene.org awards 2009 - Public Voting Open!
25.01.2010
The "Public Choice" award voting is now officially open. Take a look back through all the demos from last year, select the one that you feel best meets YOUR criteria for Demo of the Year 2009 - and vote. Obviously, you should vote for demos released from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. If you vote for something outside of that period, your vote will be discarded. Don't let that happen to you - vote for your favorite _2009_ demo . And as such - this does make the Scene.org awards for 2009 rather official - it WILL take place, it WILL be hosted by Breakpoint (who, while not able to state that the party will take place, have stated that they'll do everything in their power to have the party, and they absolutely want to provide us hosting facilities again.) Vote - then book your tickets for Breakpoint and the Scene.org awards of 2009 now! We promise to have one heck of a show for you.
