The nominees have arrived!
17.03.2010
Rejoice! After a long wait the respected jury is proud to present the nominees for the 8th Annual Scene.org Awards! Along with the usual suspects, we've introduced a wholly new award category for the Best Technical Achievement. This category highlights productions that are pushing the limits of a platform, size coding, or simply making the impossible possible.
The prize giving ceremony for the 8th Annual Scene.org Awards takes place on Saturday 4th of April, 2010 simultaneously at the Breakpoint and The Gathering demoparties. See you there & don't be a square! (The cube is your friend in need.)
Scene.org awards 2009 - Public Voting Open!
25.01.2010
The "Public Choice" award voting is now officially open. Take a look back through all the demos from last year, select the one that you feel best meets YOUR criteria for Demo of the Year 2009 - and vote. Obviously, you should vote for demos released from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. If you vote for something outside of that period, your vote will be discarded. Don't let that happen to you - vote for your favorite _2009_ demo . And as such - this does make the Scene.org awards for 2009 rather official - it WILL take place, it WILL be hosted by Breakpoint (who, while not able to state that the party will take place, have stated that they'll do everything in their power to have the party, and they absolutely want to provide us hosting facilities again.) Vote - then book your tickets for Breakpoint and the Scene.org awards of 2009 now! We promise to have one heck of a show for you.
